You know, after the disaster's at Clive's party (that's right, we're on a first name basis) I was rather worried about the actual Grammy's red carpet, but I gotta say it wasn't too bad. I mean, of course people f'ed up, but some people really looked good too. Check'em out.
You know I hate even posting a pic of this one, because it further establishes her as someone to talk about, but c'mon, how pathetic is this ensemble? I mean, just look at that ridiculous face. And, hello, a form fitting dress when you have a spare tire like suburban Jersey dad? Spanx Snooki, ever heard of'em?
This isn't my favorite dress, but I appreciate Rihanna's style, so I'm gonna support her on it. And is her sassy shaved do' growing on anyone else too?
This dress ins't my favorite either, but it's a pretty look on a pretty girl, so why fight it? I do think the fight around the bust area is a bit strange though, but gosh darnit she's cute.
Does anyone else see the resemblance between Beyonce's tastefully fitted gown and Mariah's paean to her own (fake)boobs? Isn't amazing how similar two gowns can be, yet so completely different. I'm gonna guess it really depends on who's wearing the gown, and, of course, the size of her globes.
Wait, wasn't Britney on a come back? Wasn't she doing so well, and actually looking kinda good, relatively speaking? What, o-what, happened here then? I mean is this a fishnet body over a black swimsuit or what? Maybe I should look into getting her a fashion conservatorship, they have those right?
Not everyone loved this, and such is the sartorial life of the Gaga. Always provocative, hardly boring and never easy to agree upon. But my friend Lisa is in love, love, love with this Armani number, and I kinda like it too. Usually Gaga is so costumey, but I like that this is actually fashion that she's wearing. The only thing I don't like is that awful draggy wig she has on, I mean look at the clearly deleniated line around the scalp. Bad Gaga, bad.
Ciara, you are so barely worth my time, but I just gotta say, you looked awful at Clive's (still first name BFF's) and you look just as awful at the Grammy's, and both attempts wreak of desperate press grabbing antics.
This look on Lea Michele of GLEE fame is pretty much my fave of the night. What I really love about it is she learned from her last mistake. Lea wore an admittedly gorgeous Oscar de la Renta gown to the Globes, but it was entirely age inappropriate, as you can see in this current look, Lea is young, fun, and stacked with a fantastic pair of legs. Bravo sister!

It pains me to don't Sandra again because I do like her, and I really liked the Blind Side, both times I saw it. In the theater. But this dress is another complete misfire. What is going on with the tinsel around the neckline? Sandy, pookie, honey, I know you can do better. You know you can do better. You're a good looking, fit, A-lister. Bring it.
I really like this look on Marion Cotillard. She's a cute girl, but I think sometimes she can age herself with what she chooses to wear, but not here. This dress is young fresh, and even though it's a pale color, it plays beautifully off her skin tone. Love it.
Who let's Patricia Arquette on the red carpet? Or any Arquette for that matter?
This is another tough one because I am totally devoted to Tina Fey and the irreverant genius that is 30 Rock, but what I don't like here is how in between this dress is. As in it's on it's way to being a red carpet worthy dress, but it's still too cocktail for the importance of the evening.
Carey Mulligan is a rising movie star, and if you saw last month's Vogue, she's a budding fashion star as well. I have to concur here with this gorgeous Lanvin number. I like the color and the left of expected drape.
You know JT, I think you're fab and all, but you're no actor, so you should be thanking your lucky stars actual Actors invited you. So what do you do when you get there? Where a blah suit with a DENIM tuxedo shirt? Don't hold your breath for next year's invite buddy.

Sadly, the worst of the evening is Joan Allen. Great lady, love her. But, really? You saw that necklace and thought " this would be perfect!" I mean really?
